About
NITK Karavali Marathon is an annual marathon organised by the students of NITK Surathkal and supported by NITK Surathkal Alumni Association. Initially starting off as NITK Beach Run in its first edition to celebrate India's only privately-owned college beach and promote a healthy lifestyle among the students and the staff of the institute, NITK Karavali Marathon has since grown by leaps and bounds and has carved a niche for itself in the hearts of the Karavali people. With the expected 4000-strong runners for the 5th edition of the event, NITK Karavali Marathon sees itself as the flag bearers of the Fit India Movement in the region and among the younger generation of the community.
